Marking his third consecutive year teaching this session, Yuki led a class on "Sustainability & Diversity."

The Mission: Connecting Code to Conscience

Why teach ESG to computer science and engineering students? Yuki’s message was clear: "Technology is a weapon for transparency."

In an era where non-financial value (like human capital and carbon footprint) determines a company's worth, engineers are no longer just building systems; they are building the infrastructure of trust.

Key Themes Covered:

  • Beyond Compliance: Moving from "ESG as a cost" to "ESG as a growth engine."

  • Data Visibility: How AI and data science can visualize "invisible values" like corporate culture and environmental impact.

  • Career Perspective: The exploding demand for "Sustainability Data Engineers" and "Green Transformation (GX) Architects."

A Two-Way Dialogue:

What makes this annual session special is the energy of the students. The Q&A session extended well beyond the allotted time, with sharp questions ranging from "How do we quantify the ROI of diversity?" to "Can blockchain truly solve supply chain transparency?"

YKBridge's Commitment:

At YKBridge, we believe that innovation happens at the intersection of diverse fields. By engaging with these future tech leaders, we hope to plant seeds that will grow into global solutions. We challenged them with one final question: "How will YOU change the world with your technology?"
