— About the founder

Yuki Kishi.
Founder & CEO of YKBridge
A Cambridge MBA with seventeen years across Japanese capital markets, venture capital, and fintech, Yuki has spent the last decade building bridges between foreign companies and the Japanese market — first at Deutsche Securities, then as Director at Plug and Play Japan, where he secured partnerships with MUFG, SMBC, Norinchukin, Resona, and Hitachi generating over ¥500M in revenue.
He served as CFO at ESG SaaS startup Sustainable Lab, where he co-founded a sustainability data consortium backed by the FSA and 60 Japanese banks.
In 2024 he founded YKBridge to systematize what he had been doing informally for years — helping foreign B2B startups enter Japan without the cost, risk, or wait of a full-time hire. In parallel, he serves as Country Manager Japan for Pier Two, a global blockchain infrastructure provider, and Global Adviser to the Fintech Association of Japan.
He lectures occasionally at Waseda, Kyushu Institute of Technology, and Minerva University. He has been featured in Japan Times, Nikkei, Nikkin, and FinTech Journal, and has shared the stage with representatives from Japan's FSA, the UK's HM Treasury, and Singapore's MAS at FINSUM Tokyo.
